L'"affaire Axa " est l'histoire du détournement d'une partie de la somme versée par Axa aux héritiers des Arméniens qui avaient souscrit une assurance-vie auprès de l'Union-Vie (devenue Axa) et qui avaient péri dans le premier génocide du XXèeme siècle , en 1915.

Une journaliste d'une télé d'Arménie (Shoghakat TV) Nelly Raphayelyan est venue enquêter à Paris sur l "affaire Axa".
L'avocat californien Vartkes Yeghiayan et un des membres du bureau de surveillance parisien ,Sam Schnorhokian , expliquent devant les caméras de Shoghakat TV, comment une partie du montant versé par Axa , a pu être détournée par ceux qui avaient mission d'évaluer la légitimité des demandes des héritiers des souscripteurs.
Ils montrent les chèques établis à des noms "fake", qu'un avocat et un responsable de l'administration du bureau de Los Angeles chargé de l'évaluation, ont encaissés sur leurs comptes avant d'en rendre une partie, devant la menace du scandale.
Tourné à Paris , le document permet à l'avocat Vartkes Yeghiayan et à Sam Schnorhokian , du conseil de surveillance des procédures, de révéler le résultat de leurs investigations qui ont pris des mois de recherches minutieuses.

Shoghakat TV company was founded in 1998 in Yerevan, Armenia, on the initiative of Catholicos Karekin II (at that time Archbishop Karekin Nersessian, Vicar General of the Araratian Pontifical Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church). The TV Company was founded in order to illustrate the activities of the dioceses and also to promote the preaching of Armenian Apostolic Church. Programs and films produced by Shoghakat TV could be attained by other TV Companies within Armenia, as well as through the Public TV of Armenia for the diasporan Armenians.
After Abp. Karekin Nersessian was elected Catholicos of All Armenians in 1999, the Shoghakat TV Company was relocated to Holy Etchmiadzin and became a part of the Department of Information Services of the Mother See, its primary goal being the production of spiritual and cultural programs and films.
The TV channel is being broadcast on air since November 2002. It has a viewer-ship of over one million residents living in Yerevan and in most regions of the country.[1]
Shoghakat TV Company is producing and screening universal films about civilization, history, religion, nature, celebrities, global spiritual-cultural values, as well as covering public, economic, cultural, national-ecclesiastical events shown to the wide public via three dozen authorized programs. The viewers also have an opportunity to watch films and concert both of domestic and foreign production. Programs including sports and entertainment are also being broadcast.
