L'actrice arménienne Nora Armani est lauréate du Prix KIRK d'OR décerné par l'Association des Artistes Associés et son président, Régis Raffi Bakian. Ce prix récompense son engagement en faveur du cinéma social. Le Prix KIRK (Prix KIRK récompensant l'excellence du cinéma arménien) et le Prix KIRK d'OR ont été décernés lors du Marché du Film du Festival de Cannes, le 17 mai 2025, sur le stand de la Fédération pan-arménienne des producteurs de films, au Palais des Festivals.
Il y a quelques années, Kirk Kerkorian, homme d'affaires milliardaire et philanthrope américain d'origine arménienne, a investi 100 millions de dollars pour produire un film sur le génocide arménien, La Promesse, réalisé par Terry George et mettant en vedette Oscar Isaac, Charlotte Le Bon et Christian Bale.
Après le décès de Kirk Kerkorian, les Français ont choisi de lui rendre hommage en lui décernant le Prix KIRK, dédié à sa mémoire et créé par Associated Artists et son président, Régis Raffi Bakian. La première édition des Prix KIRK a eu lieu à Nice en septembre 2018.
Cette année, le Prix KIRK a célébré l'excellence du cinéma arménien avec deux prix. Prix décernés par Associated Artists pour saluer le talent et la persévérance de deux cinéastes arméniens, sélectionnés lors de la 12e édition du SR Socially Relevant Film Festival à New York en mars.
Associated Artists et son président, Raffi Bakian, ont décerné le Prix KIRK d'Or à Nora Armani, actrice engagée dans le cinéma social, pour son travail de promotion du cinéma engagé. Le trophée a été remis à Nora Armani par les critiques de cinéma Alice Kanterian et Laura Damiola au nom d'Associated Artists. Ces dernières ont reconnu l'immense contribution d'Armani à la promotion du cinéma social en général, et du cinéma arménien en particulier.
Nora Armani est une actrice maintes fois primée à Hollywood, à Paris, en Égypte et en Arménie. Elle partage son temps entre Paris et New York et se rend chaque année en Arménie, où elle participe à des projets spécifiques pour le théâtre, la télévision et le cinéma, et anime régulièrement des master classes de théâtre et d'interprétation.
Absolute Dominion, de Lexi Alexander est une production hollywoodienne dans laquelle Nora Armani tient un second rôle clé. Le film est à l'affiche en Californie et en ligne depuis le 9 mai. The Last Wish et Jukebox sont deux longs métrages, coproductions finno-espagnoles réalisées par Rax Rinnekangas, dans lesquels Armani tient les rôles principaux. Les films sont actuellement en tournée dans les festivals internationaux et au Marché du Film de Cannes. Nora a récemment terminé le tournage du long métrage Jukebox, inspiré d'une histoire de Peter Handke, où elle tient le rôle principal. Le film, réalisé par le réalisateur finlandais Rax Rinnekangas, sera présenté en avant-première à Helsinki, au Festival international du cinéma d'Espoo.

Damiola, qui m'a décerné le KIRK d'Or à Cannes.

Depuis 2013, le SR Socially Relevant Film Festival de New York et sa directrice artistique fondatrice, Nora Armani, ont programmé 795 films de 40 pays, dont des films d'Arménie et de la diaspora. La SRFF est présente cette année au Festival de Cannes, sur le stand de la Fédération pan-arménienne des producteurs, au Marché du Film.

Armenian actress Nora Armani is the reciptent of the GOLDEN KIRK (Le Prix KIRK d’OR) awarded by Associated Artists and its president Regis Raffi Bakian. The Golden KIRK Award was given to Armani for her commitment to social cinema.
Le Prix KIRK (The KIRK Award for excellence in Armenian Cinema, and the Le Prix KIRK d’OR (The Golden KIRK) were awarded at the Cannes Film Festival Marché du Film on May 17, 2025, at the Pan-Armenian Federation of Film Producers stand in the Palais des Festivals.
A few years ago, Kirk Kerkorian, the American billionaire businessman and philanthropist of Armenian descent, invested $100 million to produce a film about the Armenian Genocide, The Promise, directed by Terry George and starring Oscar Isaac, Charlotte Le Bon, and Christian Bale.
After Kirk Kerkorian's passing, the French chose to pay tribute to him with the Le Prix KIRK (the KIRK Award), dedicated to his memory and created by Associated Artists and its President Regis Raffi Bakian. The first edition of the KIRK Awards took place in Nice in September 2018.
This year, the KIRK Award (Le Prix KIRK) celebrated excellence in Armenian cinema with two awards that were presented by Associated Artists in appreciation of the talent and perseverance of two Armenian filmmakers in the official selection of the 12th edition of the SR Socially Relevant Film Festival in New York in March.
The Associated Artists and its president, Raffi Bakian, awarded Le Prix KIRK d'Or (the Golden KIRK Award) to Nora Armani, an actress committed to social cinema, in appreciation of her work promoting socially engaged cinema. The trophy was presented to Nora Armani by film critics Alice Kanterian and Laura Damiola on behalf of Associated Artists. They recognized the enormous contribution Armani has made to the promotion of social cinema in general, and Armenian cinema in particular.
Nora Armani is a multi-award-winning actress in Hollywood, Paris, Egypt, and Armenia. She divides her time between Paris and New York, and makes annual trips to Armenia, where she participates in specific theater, television, and film projects, and presents master classes in theater and acting regularly.
Absolute Dominion, by Lexi Alexander, is a Hollywood production in which Nora Armani plays a key supporting role. The film is in theaters in California and online since May 9. The Last Wish and Jukebox, are two feature films, both Finnish-Spanish co-productions directed by Rax Rinnekangas, in which Armani plays lead roles. The films are currently on the International festival circuit, and in the Cannes Marché du Film. Nora recently wrapped filming the feature film, Jukebox, based on a Peter Handke story, as a lead actress. The film, directed by Finnish director Rax Rinnekangas will premiere in Helsinki at the Espoo Cine International Festival.
