on the Parliamentary Elections in Armenia

On January 21, a debriefing on the recent snap parliamentary elections in Armenia took place at the European Parliament's Committee on Foreign Affairs.
MEP Heidi Hautala, the head of the EP's Elections Observation Mission to elections in Armenia stated that these elections were held with respect for fundamental freedoms and they enjoyed broad public trust. "You can imagine what a delightful event it was to be there" she said. Watch here

Meeting with the Armenian National Assembly delegation

On January 29, after the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly meeting, the President of the EAFJD Kaspar Karampetian and the executive director Heghine Evinyan held a meeting with the members of the Armenian delegation headed by MP Mkhitar Hayrapetyan.

During the meeting, the EAFJD reaffirmed its readiness to fully support the Armenian National Assembly delegations in their upcoming missions in Brussels and Strasbourg.
