Partager sa carrière entre les USA et l’Arménie avec un programme de la Social Security

Did you know that more and more Armenian Americans – particularly young professionals – are splitting their careers between the United States and Armenia?

That's great for Armenia and for Armenian Americans.

To eliminate the danger of double taxation of pension benefits, the ANCA has reached out to the U.S. Social Security Administration to negotiate a Social Security Totalization Agreement with Armenia.  The agreement would prevent duplicate Social Security contributions for the same income – effectively eliminating dual coverage and dual contributions (taxes) for the same work. The U.S. has similar agreements with 26 countries.

Take a moment to watch ANCA Western Region advocate and Leo Sarkisian Internship alum Lucine Mikhanjian discuss the benefits of a U.S.-Armenia Social Security agreement. Then,  learn more about the initiative by visiting anca.org/socialsecurity.
