Décès d’un pasteur de l’Eglise St James à Watertown près de Boston, Massachussets : un exemple du déroulement d’une cérémonie

NAASR wishes to inform our members and friends of the passing on July 14 of Fr. Dajad Davidian, pastor of St. James Armenian Church of Watertown, MA, from 1969-1999, and former member of the NAASR Board of Directors and a Charter Member of NAASR.

Fr. Dajad, left, with Rev. Vartan Hartunian

at dedication of NAASR's Belmont Headquarters in 1990.

Fr. Dajad was a beloved member not only of the Massachusetts Armenian community but also in Armenia where he spent much of his time in his later years.

“Der Dajad was part of the bedrock of this community for as long as some of us can remember,” noted Marc Mamigonian, NAASR’s Director of Academic Affairs, “and his wit, compassion, learning, and dedication came through in every conversation with him. He will be missed by many all over the world.”

For more on Fr. Dajad Davidian’s life and work, please see this tribute on the St. James Armenian Church website.
