The 30th Tokyo International Film Festival -Press Accreditation
Dear Press Members,
We would like to announce the members of the press to register and apply for a Press Pass for the 30th Tokyo International Film Festival which will be held from October 25 to November 3 this year. Once you register, you will automatically receive our festival press releases even though you are not able to attend the event.
This year, we will be highlighting the works of director, Keiichi HARA in the Animation Focus, and four iconic actresses in Japan Now section.
The Animation Focus will shine a spotlight on Keiichi HARA, the award winner at Annecy International Animated Film Festival with his recent works, Colorful and Miss Hokusai. He is renowned for his ability to combine a strong auteurist approach with commercial appeal, and his increased international recognition has given him a prominent role in both current and future anime culture.

In Japan Now section, the works of four iconic actresses will be featured as the special programs to celebrate our 30th anniversary. Sakura ANDO, Yu AOI, Hikari MITSUSHIMA, Aoi MIYAZAKI have been chosen as the Muses of Japanese Cinema in honor of the powerful sparks they generate on screen, their collaborations with renowned directors and their increasing international stature.

To register and apply for the Pass, please access the Press Accreditation page within our official website. Accreditation application must be completed no later than September 22, 2017.
