We Reflect Back on a Year Since the War

On September 27, 2020, the Armenian world experienced a rude awakening about the national security of our homeland. Since that fateful day, the people of Armenia and Artsakh have had much to overcome. AGBU reflects back on the vast work executed with the support of the broad community and recognizes the profound sense of Armenian solidarity in times of crisis. We thank all the donors, volunteers, supporters, partners, and friends across the Diaspora.

AGBU Hye Geen Opens its 6th Center in Stepanakert

Women and pregnant women in Artsakh are facing many challenges such as a sharp increase in the number of newborn abnormalities and deaths, abortions, abandonment of newborns, and financial and social hardship as a result of the 2020 War.
The AGBU Hye Geen Committee voted to respond to this emergency situation with the help of Minister Artak Beklaryan and other partners in Yerevan. We are proud to announce that Hye Geen has opened their 6th Center for Pregnant Women in the Children’s Hospital of Stepanakert, Artsakh. Please join their efforts to help by clicking here

Everyone jumped back into routine with badge work and group games. So many exciting things planned for this year by their leadership teams and we cannot wait to follow their journey.
